Group Rides
We run and help run several bike rides around Brighton & Hove. Our biggest annual events are the Lewes Bonfire Bike Train in November and the family-friendly Kidical Mass rides in April and September. We also help run ad-hoc smaller rides with partners like Brighton & Hove City Council and the University of Sussex. You can see information about any upcoming rides below:

Kidical Mass
Kidical Mass is a global movement demonstrating the need for safer and better connected cycling infrastructure, especially for children and families. We work with Bricycles and other local projects to bring Kidical Mass onto the streets of Brighton & Hove every September and April. Our last Kidical Mass ride in September 2025 had over 270 riders of all ages taking part. Our next (and sixth) ride will be in April 2026.
Bonfire Bike Train
Our annual bike train to Lewes Bonfire offers a safe, fun and free way of getting to the famous Bonfire Night celebrations. In good weather we have over 500 participants and use volunteer stewards, lights and signage to take up a lane of the A27 to get from Brighton to Lewes via Falmer. We have a smaller ride back along the cycle lane at midnight. Our next ride will be on Thursday 5 November 2026.
